      DESCRIPTION:
       → There was a time when Akashi's appearance was something to behold; something that could be described with a variety of wonderful nouns and colorful adjectives.

But those days are long gone; ancient history. No amount of purple prose can fix that.

      TRIVIA:
     → Kanji (and the meanings) for Akashi's name: Akaji (赤地) means "red cloth" and Shidousha (指導者) means "leader". It's less of a name and more of a description of him back in the day.
    → Akaji could also be written as 赤字, which in this case means "characters written in red". This meaning is why Akashi never writes his surname down, writing his first name in red instead. He considers this to be clever.
     → Speaks Japanese (scarlet).
