      DESCRIPTION:
       → Ayla has raven black hair that passes her shoulder blades. Thin ponytails are made by taking only a bit of her hair, the rest are loose. Her bangs are long and majority of it is swept to her right. Her skin is paler than her parents, they blame her lack of outdoor activities for it. Her eyes are more grey than blue, but the blue is still identifiable. Her body is quite slender, but fit and muscular from intense training. Her eyes are encircled by black eyeliner and blue eyeshadow.

For clothes Ayla prefers to wear a black leather, button-up bustier over a black, high collared blouse that was tight around her torso but loose in the sleeves which are cuffed tightly around her wrists. She wears the standard white pants, brown boots, and belts given to militants. Although she prefers to not wear the brown coat she wont give up an opportunity to wear the green cloak that bears the Wings of Freedom.

Ayla speaks with authority in every situation she is presented with, either to suck up to any higher-ups through proper behavior or to intimidate anyone who goes against her. She walks with a brisk step and long strides as if she has some place important to be, however that is normally not the case: walking at such a quick pace has become a habit for her and can provide and advantage when trying to avoid busy crowds, but can also test her patience when surrounded by others constantly stepping in her way.

       PERSONALITY:
       → Ayla is two-faced, showing her stone-faced side to the public, but openly expresses her sensitive side when by herself or with someone she has come to trust.

Her stone-faced side is everything you could expect: inexpressive, cold-hearted, hardheaded and harsh, an if you expected such traits then you aren't wrong. This face of hers is almost a constant scowl, so much so that some have come to believe that that is how she looks on any other day. She isn't afraid to chastise any who fall out of line who rank below her, but should a higher up request otherwise she will obey without a single thought. However, her violent behavior without a hint of remorse earned her bad reputation and scorn filled voices claiming her have a cold heart or no heart at all.

Ayla has extreme respect for her higher ups, but such respect cannot hold her tongue when a commanding officer crosses her beliefs. When such a happening occurs she will fight for what she believes is right with all her force, unwilling to give in. Sometimes she must make sacrifices, and when she is told that she must make said sacrifice she will question it, but will follow through with her orders with resentment towards the ones that issued the orders.

Being stone-faced isn't all that Ayla is, her second face - her "affectionate" face - is one unseen even by her own family. Deep down beneath her stone surface is a pool of tears and suppressed emotions, expressions left neglected till the end of the day when she is lying in bed waiting for sleep to take her - if her sleep paralysis doesn't get to her first. When her softer side shows it's either to herself, or someone she is willing to sacrifice her life for. Some nights she cries until her eyes dry out, others she is screaming in anger and frustration to the idiots that don't understand what goes on beyond the walls. But some nights, all Ayla wants to do is be held close by someone who understands her haunting.

Those who tread her stone surfaces come to see her softer side, noticing the smaller things she does in the daylight to help those less fortunate, noticing the deepest care for the rest of the legion she has. Some who get to know her well enough to get the smallest of smiles can see the exhaustion in her eyes and the sacrifices she continues to make day-in, day-out. Some believe her determination and care for the people of Agania will lead to her death, but does that believe such things are those in the legion; the rest just see her as another cruel tyrant.

       LOVE:
       → Any blue flowers, rainy days, laying in bed all day, juice, defending those who can't defend themselves, and equality.

       HATE:
       → Bitter coffee, heat, conflicts, anything dry, and being interrupted while sleeping.

       DEEPEST SECRET:
       → She's terrified at the thought of being alone forever. Not hanging out with someone for weeks is enough to make her depressed, so she couldn't possibly handle being all alone with no one but herself. Although she can be desperate for socialization she is very good at hiding it.

       HISTORY:
       → Born to a first-class family, Ayla is one of three lucky children to be brought up in the inner-most wall: Wall Sina. The eldest of the three was a boy born 6 years before Ayla, 5 years before the middle child. Her brother had ran off to Wall Maria to work hard labor, her older sister ran off with some boy from Wall Rose, the two left Ayla with the pressure of becoming the head of the household and family business. Everyone around her encouraged her to step out of her shell, to play with the other children, to socialize and bring some color to her skin, but they mostly encouraged her to take-over the family business in exchange for non-sense filled contracts that would "ensure her future happiness and protection" but that wasn't what she wanted.

Gazing out the large window of her dark room Ayla knew that beyond the thick wall that protected her and her family were two others, two others that protected people that were far more important than her family. Without them she would have no food, no clothes, no house, nothing. However such ideologies were discouraged by her parents, they said that if those people were important they would be in Wall Sina close to the king. Ayla refused to believe them, and since then she disregarded all her parents wills and began preparations and trainings to join the trainees when she was old enough to in order to protect those people that risked their lives by being so close to the monsters in order to feed and provide many other resources for the rest of humanity within the walls.

It wasn't until her days of training to join the Scouting Legion that she realized how corrupt the military really was. Many trainees said they were going to join the Military Police saying that it was an honor to work directly under the king, others felt no need to make up lies and excuses and went right out to say they were going to join the Military Police in order to be as far away from the Titans as they could. Their selfishness disgusted Ayla, but just like the ones that defended the selfish: she understood.

"Some of us aren't stupid enough to throw away our lives like those Scouting Legion people." She heard that from somewhere in the lunch hall. It pissed her off. In an outburst of anger Ayla made an oath: She wasn't going to stop as a simple soldier below the rest, she was going to keep going, keep fighting her way to the top. She was going to become the commander, she is going to teach the people that the Scouting Legion wasn't throwing away their lives, she was going to teach them that the Scouting Legion was fighting to live. Not to just live another day, but to live and keep fighting until humanity has won against the titans. And then they will keep on living.
