      DESCRIPTION:
       → Body: Allen's body is fairly heavily muscled, which, in addition to his towering height of six-and-a-half feet, allows him to look down on most of his peers. His hair is a ruddy shade of red, kept to a medium length and is normally slicked back. His eyes are a deep, almost-black, brown. He seems to have some trouble keeping his stubble down, though he does manage to avoid having a beard. His skin tone is fairly tanned, due to long hours of personal training. Allen has no visible scars.
       → Attire: Allen's attire is rather simple; he wears a long, black, high-collared and tattered cloak with metallic shoulder plates, and around his waist is a simple belt. Allen also wears loose-fitting dark pants, complete with an armored waist-guard bearing plates similar to the ones on his shoulders now at his hips, tucked inside simple boots.
       → Mannerisms: Due to Allen's height, the man often has very long strides, and is known for sometimes leaving comrades eating his dust if he doesn't adjust his own gait to match theirs.

       PERSONALITY:
       → Allen has a nearly traitorous philosophy; that his allegiance is not to the king, but to the country of Agania. This philosophy does not manifest often, as Allen is sure that Agania does need a ruler to stay on the throne and make decisions, though Allen is known to disobey direct orders if he knows of a method that better suits the whole of Agania, as opposed to the king. For this reason, though Allen was once a member of the Military Police and was even once considered for a position in the King's Guard because of his powerful alchemy, he was considered a troublemaker and had to be coerced into joining the Scouting Legion.
Allen is also what many would consider a "hardass", even in the Scouting Legion itself. He often engages his peers in hand-to-hand sparring, believing such activities promote greater physical care. In this way, he is nothing like most of the other officers from the Military Police. Allen is also fairly strict, expecting the best out of the men under him and serving alongside him. He does sincerely care for his comrades, and often goes out of his way to stop any needless deaths, even putting himself in danger in order to save just one of his subordinates. Despite his strictness and somewhat radical philosophy concerning the king, he is respected among most of his peers.
In battle, Allen is somewhat brazen and often fights on instinct. Though he often manages to win, some of his peers simply consider him lucky, since he doesn't seem to think things through very often. He has evaded death very often, but mostly from relying on his peers or his subordinates for help. Though he does rely on instinct, his instinct appears rather sharp and quick, though a tactically-adept opponent could conceivably break him in a one-on-one match.
At his most relaxed state, the man is rather prone to drinking alone, though usually only at night, when he can afford to let his guard down from both Titans and his subordinates.
